He ended up having to go and help a first year teacher multiple times through the day, causing his class to not be able to do Halloween activities on Halloween, and they have been trying hard to be good for it. It lead to him saying people shouldn’t be afraid to restrain abusive students, and snowflake parents always blow it out of proportion. I was planning on coming out as NB that week, so I looked at him and asked “what about the LGBTQIA?” Then he went on a homophobic rant with my 11 yo brother in the backseat. He said something along the lines of “…It’s ok if you were born a man and you want to be a woman. You can dress how you want, have preferred pronouns, whatever. The bad part is, men that are transgender to female is in sports. There have been men that weren’t that good at men’s sports. But now that they are female, and in female sports they are crushing it now. You can chose to be a woman all you want, but the testosterone imbalance is just part of your biological makeup. Now you are invalidating cis women who worked hard. And there’s men who most likely want to look like a woman, so they can perv on other women. It’s ok to be compliant and give them rights. But the moment you are to giving they’ll immediately take it for granted by being more violent.
